Just realized the top three sandwiches are all pretty much lunch meat, lettuce, and bread. Out of all the creative entries....this will end up a failure.

I encourage all Spartans to try as many sandwiches as they can since I am on the committee who is running this event and my wife is the person who created it. There are 48 restaurants participating and many are donating proceeds to charity. I have had about 10 of them so far and some are really amazing. the Omelette Shoppe should have used their triple decker club. It is a beast of a sandwich that they top off with a fried egg. One of those sandwiches that you can barely get your mouth around for a bite and can never finish. Simply amazing.

Was not aware of the setup. This is fine by me then, especially since one of the restaurants I listed is in EGR.

The feedback so far has been pretty positive. There are two weeks for the public to vote then we have five local chefs and food experts pick the best from those ten.
Let me know which ones you try and how you like them.
