For all the hype Cal gets, UConn is just as loaded. As noted before, Butler isn't exactly a bunch of nobodies. VCU's best player was supposed to be a stud at Wake Forest.

Where are you getting your recruiting stars? Green was a 4 star as well as Byrd and Guana. The only 3 stars on our roster will come from this year's class in Trice and Kearney. Trice came on super late and never had his stars updated (he was Gatorade Player of the Year in Ohio) and Kearney was a 4 star turned 3 star after a sluggish senior year.

I watched Butler play during the regular season last year and this year. I am not making a snap judgement based on tournament play. In case you did not know, Mack was invited to an NBA camp last summer. Only the top 10 guards in the country were invited. Maybe you need to watch college basketball more instead of making snap judgements on others.

FWIW for those that prefer "Scout" ratings. The OP contained the Rivals ratings. The Scout ratings for the Final Four team players were almost exactly the same; except for Butler whose players Scout rated lower across the board.
