Hell, recent weeks.
It was an excellent third period. I liked our aggressive play toward the Niagara net. Also, despite going only 1-for-6, I really liked the power play tonight, too.
Definite bright spots, and definitely one of those character building wins.
And if the good Lord’s willin’, I’m a keep on chillin’, refillin’ and flyin’ high

Great win tonight. Niagara, as expected, was a solid team and it was a great comeback.
I thought we looked good for the most part. The first period was meh, but the second and third were both much better. It didn't show up in the stats, but I thought we controlled play a great deal in the 2nd period and NU finally took some trips to the box in the 3rd period.
I expect we will see a lot of these close nailbiters this year.
Good to get the comeback win to erase the bad taste from last weekend. I liked what i saw from our freshman and Yanakeff was fantastic. Make no mistake, Niagara is a tough team and this is a solid non con win. Gonna have to scrap for the sweep tomorrow.

I think we'll see both goaltenders tomorrow, too. Chubak has two great periods before MSU started to pour it on. I think his performance tonight cemented him as Niagara's starter for the rest of the year.
Anastos has gone with Yanakeff in every game this season and outright refused to pull him when things got dire in Minneapolis. I think Anastos sees Yanakeff as the team's everyday starter.
