Good thing Bama is notorious for WEAK lines!!!!

No surprise that they are so thin on the lines that they wont have a Spring Game, instead they be running drills and some situational plays. That team will be thin, especially along the D line, any injuries and there will be big trouble for them.

Totally different here where we'll be able to field 2 very strong teams for a Spring Game.

Year after year in college football the teams who drastically under achieve are weak and thin on the lines with little depth. Year after year ion college football the teams that over achieve are strong and deep along the lines. Skill players come and go, it's line play that matters most.

So, instead of doing what his program has always done, he wants to draft and split and do what MD does instead? Few teams do that. I find it funny that Hoke now wants to take a page from MD!

Smart move from his perspective. He really needs to lower expectations a little bit. At this point it seems like he could go 9-3 this year, which is pretty solid considering their depth issues and schedule, but the fans would be furious. They wouldn't even be disappointed, they would be pissed off.

I'm sure Hoke would gladly come out of these games with only 3 losses:

Hoke sandbagged the shit out of that team last year, as well. This however, is pretty believable. I think their O-line will pull it together but that D-line will easily be the weakest position on the team.

The O line will be fine I think, not as good as last year, but not weak, however, they are 1 injury away there of being screwed. The D line will struggle to hold the point of attack all year.

I'm sorry, doesn't he have a roster filled with 4 and 5 star recruits?
