Grilled. I find it hard to beloved people will eat a microwaved dog

Never boiled, if I have to boil it I will still throw it in a frying pan to give it some crispness.

Whatever ever they do to the dogs at Spartan Stadium....the opposite of that.

Boiled till they rip is the best. Haven't had a hot dog in awhile though

I'm not sure if they were boiled or steamed, but the best hot dogs I've ever had were at Tiger Stadium, when the vendors used to walk around with the big metal boxes full of hot dogs, just stewing in their hot dog water, and they'd put it in the bun right there for you.

Like two different things. Almost like comparing round and square pizza, both good.

They were steamed. Comerica actually has a couple of vendors in red & white striped shirts in the stands selling hot dogs the same way. I've never had one from them, so I don't know if they are actually steamed, or if they are just giving you the appearance of this. But these vendors will also put on your mustard for you like they did at Tiger Stadium.

Charred- lock it

I boil my hotdogs first and then fry them in a pan. The boiling puffs/softens them up and then the pan fry gives them that psuedo-grilled, slightly burned skin. Damn delicious! It also makes it easier to store hotdogs longer before cooking, as I keep them in the freezer.

And then this is how I prefer my condiments:

Mustard only applied with a tongue depresser. The vendors dogs were boiled but the ones @ the concession stand were grilled. Man, do I miss the old ballpark.

PS....if you are Nucky, fuck off.

I must be a total square. I like the plain ol' yellow mustard on hot dogs. Nothing else.
