Too many people are buying into the hype of UM football. They haven't left their stadium. MSU is the better team. MSU also plays much better at home than on the road.

5. As much as we don't like to admit it, they have gotten better.....Especially on defense. If we can Shut Robinson down and make him throw, We should win. If he gets loose, and is able to move the ball, we lose.

We got exposed a lot at OSU

I think some are falling into the trap of assuming this year is like the past few for scUM. We don't really know how good of a coach Hoke is yet, but we know one thing, he is a ton better than DickRod. Their defense is good, our's is better. But I am pretty shaky on our offense right now.

They have a lot of seniors who won't want to finish their careers winless against the Spartans. I think the motivation factor for them rises above just the usual rivalry game stuff.

So in short I think we are a better team, but they will be coming at us with everything they have. Home field gives us a slight advantage.

8 out of 10. They have improved, but we are still the better and more complete team, and we are at home.

I think people also fall into the trap of WGAF about how "good" they are and have some faith that we are going to kick those stupid bastards back down where they belong because we're better than them. I don't care how "good" coach Hoke is. Our coach is better. O don't care how "good" their defense is. Our defense is better. Eff them in their stupid asses.

9.5 - sounds homerish but let me explain;

Their offense has regressed in my eyes, it looks like a dumbed down version of the dickrod play calling.

I'm not sold on their D, they stopped Minnesota ...and that's about it. Eastern, western, sdsu all had a very good gameplan against the scUm D, but didn't have the athletes to execute said game plan. As shaky as our O is we will score points on them.

As the ND game, it took ND completely losing their shit for scUm to comeback ...couple that with a lot of lucky bounces and it is what it is.

Bye week at a good time to solidify O-Line and work on timing.

10 just would not be realistic as turnovers and big plays can go the other way, but as I said against Ohio State, I think we would have to beat ourselves to lose. Cousins will play better at home and hopefully our O-Line will start to Jell.
