I usually love the NFL draft.
But there is a game 7 at MADISON SQUARE FUCKING GARDEN TONIGHT!!!!!!

I know it's pretty dorky, but I really like the NFL Draft. I look forward to it every year, and I can't really explain why. I will definitly watch today and tomorrow. Will probably just look for updates on Saturday.

My excitement for this draft is somewhere between seeing Alison Brie naked and being choked to submission by a 300 pound mistress.

This. Can't stand draft time. No way I'm going to sit there for 3 hours and watch some jerkoff in a suit read one name every 15 minutes when I can just read the entire first round on the internet tomorrow in about 15 seconds. Might be a bit more interesting if it were a pick each minute, but every 15 minutes is boring as shit. That and I don't give a rat's ass about the NFL.
Of course, as soon as the draft orgy is done with, the NBA playoffs orgy begins which is even worse. Not a great time of the year for sports...

I think it has been said at least once a day since football season ended. Joel Foreman has retired from football.

Like others, I used to enjoy a long day of drinking, watching the draft.
Now, I watch the first round, and the best part is seeing Mel Kiper make a prediction, have it be wrong, and then see him explain how foolish every NFL GM is compared to him.

I am just as excited about it as I have been since the Millen years, for different reasons: before it was to try to figure out who the fuck we had drafted and why; now it's to see what the mad scientist Mayhew is up to.
I'm looking forward to it also because there should be a good crop of s drafted this year.

10 minutes for the 1st round, 5 for 2nd and 3rd, and 3 after that.
