How far do the teams in the B1G make it in March?

1. MSU - FF
2. UM - SS
3. OSU - EE
4. IU - torn on this one, I think they can make a run or lose in the first weekend
5. Illinois - 2nd day
6. Minny - SS
7. Wisky - First weekend loss
8. Purdue - SS
9. Northwestern - First loss if they make it
10. Nebraska - not marching
11. Iowa - not marching
12. PSU - not marching
I think 8 teams make it. B1G could really use 2 teams making the final weekend, and really need someone to win it. I have no faith in the coaches that have talent on the team other than Izzo. Matta is going to wear his team out, IU is still young, but they could make a run, Wisky needs to start remembering that basketball is still played in March. UM is hot or cold, but relying on the 3 doesn't win championships.
What teams do you think have a legit shot at a FF? B1G may have done great in the OOC this year, but they really need to bring it strong in March to prove they aren't all overrated.

Depending on matchups they could make it. Hummel getting hot in March would help them get out of the first weekend. Jackson is small, but a good PG. To be honest I'm not sure why I put them making it there. I really like Minny, Sampson III needs to get his head on straight and I like Tubby. Other than that, everything else is in the air.

I just don't see how Iowa makes the NIT. They are historically bad defensively. I might argue them as the worst team in the B1G right now.

OSU is the only team at this point that looks like final 4 material at this point. Check back in a month. Gotta see how we fare against the Bucks. I think B1G could have as many as 5 in the sweet 16 and 3 in the elite 8. OSU looks to be the clear favorite in the league when they are healthy. I think MSU, scUM, Wisky, IU and Illiniois are possiblities for s16 or e8. Purdue, NW, Minny are early outs if they get in. Neb, PSU and Iowa fighting for NIT spots.
