There is no doubt he will be good, but he also benefited from Worthy double teams. Some of the better centers in the league graduated and the middle of the D-line has potential.
I look at the LB's as a unit, and as a unit they are strong. DRob, prepare for the unit.
This defense could be ..... this year.

I think he'll lead the team in tackles again. He has to improve shedding blocks, so hopefully another year of weight training will help with that. I thought he looked pretty good last year, though he disappeared from some games.
I thought MSU would get 90% of Greg Jones' from Bullough last year and I think they got between 80 and 85% of the production. What made MSU so formidable is that just about every other spot on D saw an increase in production from the year before. CLR was replaced by a true soph, with only a slight drop-off, if anything. The SS spot saw a true soph (Lewis) outplay the RS SR predecessor (Hyde). Denicos Allen didn't make as many tackles as Eric Gordon, but so what? Definite improvement there. Norman in '11 was better than Norman in '10.
The DL, however, saw every single position take a step forward from the year before. Just so impressive to see that. Basically I feel that 9/11 positions on D last season improved from '10, and the 2 that didn't saw a minimal drop-off. Real testament to the coaches.

How good will Max Bullough be this year?
