How long will Suh be suspended?

other than the stomp name one that hasn't been blown out of proportion

There is a reason fellow players vote him the dirtiest player in the league. Not media, not radio call in guys, fellow players do.

Look, I could care less about suh. He's not the player we all thought he'd be. He's a horrible human being whose football play doesn't overcome his assholeness.

Fine him or dont. He's a waste of time. I could not care less.

  • Suh is a first class joke and it charade is getting old. He is your typical coddled high school kid who likes to act up and thinks he is too smart and cute for his own good.

Seriously, the guy's act is getting old - - too many instances of this type of shit to be coincidental.

Ship him and his sister Goomdah out of town...tired of them. Bring some real blue collar type guys into the D.

since when has "proof" mattered in the new NFL

exactly. definitely a fine. Hell, they fined a Lions player (can't remember who it was, the dude signed as a FA the previous week) for a horsecollar tackle that wasn't a horsecollar tackle. Suh will get hammered.

  • Suh has been voted the dirtiest player in football by over 100 professional football players. I am going to guess they may know a thing or two more than the morons on this board that continually defend him.

    He is Richie Incognito Jr.

Guessing just a large fine. Would be nothing if it were any other player. If Suh has the body control necessary to do that intentionally and precisely while upside down and falling, he should be working as a government assassin.

Not so sure about that. He's fall didn't look natural. Normally, legs don't fly up at that level when being tackled. I don't believe he was going for the groin, but he definately looked like he was going for a kick.

Suh has one dirty play in his career

the rest have been monumentally blown out of proportion

Even the "one dirty play in his career" was blown out of proportion.

THIS. Trade him while he still has some value.

This was more of an anti NFL and goodell thread than pro suh.

I think most of us are tired of suh. Pro Detroit or not

I actually disagree. When he makes contact his movement stops. If it was intentional the movement would have continued forward.

Too much analysis of a slow motion play. I could take any hit in slow motion and claim intent. We are not in his head and will never know his intent on the play. Unlike the stomp which you could clearly see his rage and action, slowing down this play shows nothing but an agenda.

Thanks for being in agreement. He is just too much of a headcase at this point. Just don't understand how you can think you can get away with that crap still.

  • The NFL would be much less inclined to screw over the Lions if William Clay Ford showed up to owners meetings and Goodell had to face him in person.

You mean the same owner who criticized the former commissioner for his referees and then never paid the fine. Ford has a lot of clout in the league and always has.

  • I want 10 more head cases on defense like Suh. You think the opposing QB looks up and is thrilled to be facing Ray Lewis or Suh? If you're an NFL QB looking up and seeing Ray Lewis, who killed a guy, or Suh, who will stomp on you if you piss him off, talking to themselves about breaking you in half, you'll have second thoughts.

These are fans of the same school where Gholston tried to break Denards neck. He's exactly the kind of guy I want on my team. Someone to piss off the opposing team and fan base but can handle it themselves.

I'd have all the nice guys play offense and the unpredictable play defense.

And Blue Collar my ass, these guys are multi multi multi millionaires. People who work hard in Football doesn't mean they are blue collar, they just love what they do and try to be the best.

I dunno. I would think Ford's enormous participation as a league sponsor might actually help the team's standing, helping it keep the Thanksgiving game, etc.

I actually can admit Suh is a straight up dick most of the time but assuming he can intentionally hit a guy in the balls with his foot while falling down and not even looking is a stretch. If he can then I'm impressed.

I agree. In this one, he was knocked over and flailed. I doubt he had any idea that he was that close to Schaub's balls.

  • You have your head buried in the sand if you don't think Suh kicked him on purpose. Granted him directly in the sack was just a lucky by product of that, but he did mean to make contact. Suh realized he had an opportunity to sneak in a cheap shot without drawing a flag and took it.

Suh is trending towards a**hole quickly. At least twice yesterday he had a chance to jump up in the QB's face and force an imcompletion or knock the ball down, but he was to intent on getting to the QB with intent to injure.

It's no different than the hit he put on Cutler a few weeks ago. Sure is was 'wink wink' legal, but he rodeoed his leg around Cutler and made sure he went down extra hard. Sure it's part of football, but it was also uncecessary and borderline over the line.

You know Goodell won't be able to let it go, intentional or not. Because Goodell is Mr. Dictator. I am going to say the rest of the season.

forgot to the answer the question.

Yes. 1 game suspension. It will not be repealed.

WCF has subtle but realistic economic clout which flies under the radar as opposed to the outwardly big-mouth clout of Jerry Jones. How much of that will be effective when the team is solely in the hands of Billy Ford remains to be seen.

    Vegas Vic

  • There is no doubt that this was done with intent. When he was knocked over, his leg was flailing towards Shcaub's thigh. He had his head to the side, saw where Schaub was and had a second motion where he kicked his leg right towards Schaub's nuts.

He should be suspended a game but will probably be just fined.

    Spartan Punk

  • He shouldn't be suspended, but his foot should be amputated for punishment.

  • yall need to take a look at
    1) where his helmet was facing when he landed. I dont think he could see shaub from where he was.
    2) how his knee hit the turf. I think that the action that looks like a kick is actually just his legs bouncing as his other knee hit the turf.
    d) thats all.
