I don't remember when I started forgetting.

It is surprisingly easy to do once you stop giving a fuck.

I'm 42. I still get carded when I buy alcohol. I have never forgotten my own age.

I really don't see how anyone in their twenties forgets their age. I am 26, and while I act like I am 20 a lot of the time, I have never forgotten my age. Every year in your twenties still seems big as your are still in your prime (21 I could drink, 23 was the post college age, 25 I was halfway through twenties, 26 I am closer to 30). Once I hit 30, I could see the years starting to run together because it is really the start of your decline out of your youth.

easy to do when you hang w people younger than you. Old people suck.

I think the first time was when I was 24, but that was a one-time thing -- I generally kept track of my age until 26 (25 is a big birthday because it's a quarter century, halfway through your 20s, etc., 26 is easy to remember because you're no longer 25). Once you hit 27, the years start to blend together.

Now, I have to remember what year it is (a challenge in and of itself), then calculate how many years it's been since I was born, and then adjust based on whether or not my birthday has occurred. Fortunately, I still remember my birth date without any trouble, so I can do this math.
