As a recent graduate of MSU, I am spending my last summer days doing the easiest of summer jobs, caddying. Today, I was rewarded with caddying for the one and only Mark Hollis. Greg Ianni was in the group as well.
Before we tee'd off while he was still putting on the practice green, he noticed a kid about 12 years old wearing a Spartan hat. (It was junior golf day at the club). He proceeded to call Tom Izzo and handed the phone to the kid saying, "Would you like to talk to Tom Izzo?" The kid was cheesing.
Anyway, throughout the round we chatted about MSU sports and of course about his golf game. He said that he only gets out about 4 times a year to play. One thing I realized throughout the round was the fact that he is down to earth, personable, and just an overall good human being and it made me proud that he is our AD and that I am a
