? I hate on gHost all the time. But I usually read the story and determine that it sucks, or that the joke he told in the story sucks, before making my played joke about driving slowly downhill. Your post was shit. Call a spade a spade.

OK, my comment on another fictional story by ghost was shit. I'll admit it. lol

Seriously, even if it's true, who gives a fuck? If I give my keys to a friend and he comes over and uses my pool with a few friends, I'd be happy that my stuff can bring my friends some joy. But then, I'm not a self absorbed prick and I appreciate friendship.

Hey ghost, do you freak out if your "friend" makes a sammitch out of your fridge? lol

Glad to hear it was a good show. I'm seeing them at Lolla this year and can't wait. Not surprised about the sound. They seem to be a band that could get drowned out in open space fairly easily if the amps aren't up enough.

The last time they played Lolla, they were terrible. Sound was really crappy and you could barely hear them. People were booing.

Just don't be a douchebag and kick out other members of the bicycling club because they side with the other guy. That would be a dick move. Although if you decide to go the dick move, at least have the courtesy to tell them, otherwise that would be a real dick move.

The only remotely believable part about this gHost story?

What about the part he mentions having a wife? I dont believe that.

Wait, I'm confused. Was that member the dude with the flat tire? How many bikes are we talking? Did that person actually not use coasters? And how many dick moves can you count as dick moves if the entire move only counts as one? Is the sum total a derivative of dicks?

Bike Club sounds fucking intense. Some Bike Club Ballers up in here. I even found a pic from Yesterday's meeting, you can see the effect losing 2 members has had, but shit it still looks fun as hell.

  • So what's the problem with having glass around the pool? I've been at my house that has a pool (vinyl liner) for over 12 years and have never had an issue with this, plus I have stamped concrete all the way around the pool, never been an issue.

What the hell does someone need a $5000 bicycle for? besides the fact that you can tell everyone that you own a $5000 bike....bicycle that is

glass around the pool is a universal no-no. people are in bare feet around the pool and it gets slickery. next thing you know gHost shoved a beer bottle up his own ass for no reason whatsoever. plastic would be okay, it's more pliable, but glass is very painful to extract from the fundament.

    I don't see a problem with a $5,000 bike. It's no more or less ludicrous than a $50,000 car.

I also don't see a problem with glass around a pool. If someone breaks a glass, can't they just clean up the broken glass? It makes sense around public pools where idiots won't clean up after themselves, but in gHost's backyard? I don't get it.

I can already see my bottle of Oberon sitting on the coping while floating my fat ass around the pool. I have more issues with people leaving paper and stuff (napkins) around that get blown into the pool never had a bottle or glass break that we couldn't sweep up without slicing our toes off

If you break a bottle and the glass shards fall into the pool, it's pretty tough to sweep up something in a filled pool.

This is theoretical of course, because I'm not sure ghost even has a pool.

I added the fanboy, fairy, boner part for relevance. I see it was lost on you.

BTW, WTF are you? you have 4600 posts but I don't remember anything interesting. hmmmm.

Look, the other day, ghost was laughing and mocking the MCA (Adam Yauch), I thought that was in pretty poor taste, so I'm giving your pal some grief. It really is strange that you feel the need to stick up for him. strange indeed. Good luck with that, kid.

I think stalking another poster giving him the attention he desparately craves would be a great way to gain notoriety.

This is a potential problem for public pools where they serve food/drinks and would be sued if someone cut themselves on a piece of glass, but I've never heard of someone with a private backyard pool having an issue with broken glass getting in it/around it.
