I used to have a roommate who was an EMT. The guy would come home after a 10 hour shift and talk my ear off for 45 minutes while I was watching shows or playing Xbox about EMT bullshit 3-4 times per week when I was home relaxing after work myself. Got to the point where I never asked him about work simply because it was a free invitation for him to dive into a half hour story. Never understood it and rarely cared.

Now you know why nurses, medics, firefighters and doctors all marry each other 99% of the time. People that don't work in those fields can't talk or relate to what they see everyday. Type A personalities and simply adrenaline junkies.

Well to be fair it's not his fault he doesn't know any of that.
I think the only things they teach at Cooley are "the shortest route to the hospital," "getting past the front desk nurse and into your new clients room" and "soft-tissue damage: god's greatest gift"
