    All the commits committed in 2012, only a few reasons they would de-commit.

    1) A multi-year bowl ban. That would open up the flood gates.

    2)[u] I'd assume most of these commits are high character guys, because it requires real character to commit to PSU in the first class post-Paterno considering the scandal. Most guys would look at the question marks, and potential scandal and would just back off. [/u]A guy who would de-commit didn't think the commitment through well enough. Do you really want that guy on your team? Wouldn't he end up quitting on your team as soon as he didn't get PT/you lost 3 in a row?

    Really? I'd assume that the recruits believed what Larry Johnson Sr. and the rest of the PSU staff surely told them: nothing to this story, it's a witch hunt. That means a character guy would be pissed off now that they know they've been lied to.

    Now, if you assume that they just didn't care that PSU is neck deep in facilitating the rape of children, I'd say those are low character guys. In short, PSU type of guys, in the Paterno mold.
