Same here. Actually it is one of the nicest and most friendly gameday experiences with the fans that I have experienced. Them and actually Nebraska fans.

I'd slug the Hawkeye Nation squarely in its three-toothed maw. When they visited MSU about 3 seasons ago, they were the worst fan base I'd ever seen here, worse than even the Walverines. Besides, I still have a grudge against them for the game there two years ago.

In a purely basketball point of view, it would be hard to argue it is not. ESPN, and many other national news organizations, have released top 10 rivalries and Hope and Calvin tends to show up.
I don't really care for Calvin either, but due to their lack of a football team I can't really say one way or the other. Hope fans tend to be like UofM guys, you know where they went to college because they'll tell you.
