I was floating around in the pool earlier today reading my book with the radio on and that song came on the radio. I paused, placed my book on my dry chest, and enjoyed the song, which I hadn't heard in a while. I gotta say, I've heard a lot of music over the years and I honestly can't think of a better pure pop song. It's sincere, fun, a little dark, fast, and lyrics and music are perfect compliments to one another. I think it's the greatest pop song ever recorded and still sounds fresh and great 20+ years later.

I think Modern English has re-released that song with every new generation that's hit puberty since it originally debuted. Add to that the number of times it's been used in tv commercials and the group has likely made solid bank on one dang song over a 30 year stretch. Good for them.
