I'm putting my dog down on Friday

Not to go all Wells/Kevorkian up in this bitch, but I never understood why euthanasia for pets is considered the right and loving thing to do in our society, but people can't apply that same line of thinking to humans whose quality of life is equally bad.

I've often thought about this too. My grandma was in the hospital a lot her last two years before she finally passed away last June. I was sad but it didn't hit me that hard because she has been 75% blind for the last ten years and I felt like she deserved to go.

I'm particularly in favor of euthanasia of UM fans.

It happens, unofficially. When your parent is in hospice at home and in bad shape, they often give you a bottle of liquid morphine. Then, it's put up or shut up time.
