I don't think there would ever be a consensus on a greatest thread, but there were some epic threads on the old board in the mid-2000's:

Early to mid-2000s were the pinnacle of humor on tRCMB. Funny funny shit. I could probably think of another dozen funny awesome threads.

I agree, although Trevor doesn't think so.
Oh, I also remember laughing until I cried at the thread of people signing up to claim tanfan's possession prior to FL being hit with a hurricane.
And the kraken thread after a hurricane (I think it was Katrina) that was all pics of gHost and Spartan Al in the aftermath of the storm.
