IMHO, it's not even the best Beatles album, that honor belongs to the White Album, but it's a close second with Revolver.
Probably Dark Side of the Moon or Pet Sounds.

I've always said that The Wall is the greatest album, Electric Ladyland the best collection of songs, if that makes sense.

The correct answer is Stryper's "To Hell with the Devil" album. The pinnacle of 80s God Rock, IMHO. It's got everything you want in a album; Jesus, spandex, pyrotechnics, pious women, goblins, ect.

Most on this board were not even born when it came out so their idea of best does not count. For me I'll take tWHO,Cream, and Stones before the Beatles(I just was not a fan of theirs).

Abbey Road is indeed a great album. But come on, Maxwell's Silver Hammer is frickin stupid and well worth skipping. One dud out of like 18 songs ain't a bad ratio though.

You Never Give Me Your Money, Here Comes the Sun, Come Together, I Want You (She's So Heavy) and Something are all fantastic. Her Majesty might be my favorite song on the album though.

Abbey Road isn't even the best Beatles (White Album).
There isn't a "best album ever" because it depends on what mood I'm in - but I listened to Tragic Kingdom the other day, and I had forgotten how amazing it is.
