Are we gonna eliminate movies like Purple Rain where the soundtrack is in fact just a studio album.
What about movies like A Hard Day's Night, Beat Street, Krush Groove?

Idk. Cant think of a better one right now, but i would say no. Its very repetitive. It felt like they had the same three songs on a loop. Still one of the greatest movies ever made tho.

Purple Rain is great, but did the album come out before the movie? I can't remember. I don't think it should count if the album came out first and the movie was based off of it, like The Wall.

Pump Up The Volume was really good, but could have been great if they put Everybody Knows and If It Be Your Will by Leonard Cohen on it. But, inexplicably, they didn't.
