I've just got to say something....

  • Just deal with it, guys. This isn't 2002, they're legit. This game was a god damn toss up, you all knew that. Respect and hate are not mutually exclusive. So take your damn medicine and get ready for February 5th.

I call bullshit. We supposedly have better players, better coach and there is no excuse. Playing in ann arbor can get dicey, but you still win. Ugly or not. WIN. This is an embarrassment. Izzo needs to step up and earn is $$$. And the players need to realize in a hurry that this is not acceptable.

Come on man... I don't want to say he couldnt have done better, but the players weren't exactly executing or drawing contact in the lane. You can't go to the line 3 times on te road an expect to win. Even then, they played well enough to lose by one point. Senior leader missed a shot at the end. It happens

  • The way we were rolling before NW we should have busted these guys up by double digits.

We looked off tonight. I'm not going to say that UM is on our level as program, yet but 3 in a row isn't a fluke. They play decent ball there now.

We can't play our B or C game and win in Crisler anymore, not with this young of a team.

We NEED to beat them in EL. Do that and then see what happens next year. This shit is a little bit cyclical. Remember when Illinois was a thorn in Izzo's side for a couple years. We'll get it under control.

    JMCSpartan08

  • they were the better team last year. unless we lose in breslin, i think that this one is a fluke and/or just a tough big ten road game. im biting my tongue for 19 days though.

  • We'll see how legit they are. They will struggle to finish .500 in conf. and might win 4 more games all year including post season.

ScUM is a 1 trick pony. Burke sets up all their players with his dribble penetration and he scores. I am disappointed that our coach did not decide to shut him down by putting Kearney on him the last 9 minutes. If you know this dude is they key to their offense, how do you let him go off for 31 minutes before you address it.

  • Tough loss, but we didn't execute down the stretch and that was the difference. Sure there were some ridiculous no calls, but you expect that on the road, we didn't get it done, we had a chance to win.

Nice to know your MSU basketball knowledge is on par with your Detroit Tigers knowledge.

Thank you. Let me know if you need any reference material, referrals, etc. Since you seem to fail in backing up most of your profound opinions.

  • +1. We lost to a good Big Ten team on the road tonight. It happens. It is very hard to next to impossible to beat a good team on the road in the Big Ten. We didn't execute at the end and that is what cost us the game, that and nothing else. The officials do not get the blame. They didn't turn the ball over or miss shots.

......but don't tell me UM has 'very good' players, because they don't. Ultimately this type of game is on the coaching.

  • Embarrassment? Please, UM is good at basketball, and that's it. We'll have to deal with it, just like they're dealing with our football program being stable. It's hard winning on the road, and IMO we have a lot of room for improvement. MSU is way ahead in where I thought they would be, and we shouldn't base tonights loss as a season killer.

  • Don't get over it, yet. Hate losing, to scum, to anyone. This should sting. MSU has superior talent and coach. They had the emotional edge tonight and that was the difference. The team needs to show up and shut Chrysler the F up. We better start coming to play because talent doesn't win on the road to a team that wants it more. They will learn or lose. Let it go tomorrow after practice and figure out what kind of team you want to be.

This team should have learned this lesson on Saturday. Tonight was a joke.

They are in the Tournament barring a total collapse. They are a top 6 Big Ten team right now. And it is very difficult to win on the road in the Big Ten especially against a upper half Big Ten team.

  • The last 3 minutes of each of the last 2 games are completely embarrasing. Just fucking shitting ourselves. Pathetic.

Yes Michigan is pretty damn good. And BURKE IS BETTER THAN Appling as a true point.

To recap we had like 10 shots and couldn't score once and let them score in like 3 seconds. There, that's the last 2 minutes. Why can't Izzo use his time outs in a manner slightly better than a doorknob humper? Is he hibernating his evil genius until "March"? Can we simply get a Calendar with 12 pages of "March"?

Me, yelling, until the end of the season "Green in the post, nothing else until they stop it", there now everybody should be happy, I don't have to post anymore, everybody wins, except MSU tonight of course.

Although it looks otherwise I don't really care that much, it was evident from early on that Michigan was playing harder and better and Burke is just outstanding, willed them to a win. It was baby Isiah like at times.
