Izzo has said he would actually play Roe on Senior Day if the NCAA allows it. MSU still has a locker for him. We'll see what the NCAA does.

Is he still considered an amateur since he is getting paid as an actor? NCAA is weird, let a Can Newton be eligible all year long, but Roe, who is probably one of the most deserving Student Athletes out there will most likely be ruled ineligible.

Student-athletes are not prohibited from having outside employment. I'd guess the amateur status issue has to do with the fact that he plays a college basketball player in a movie which means it'd be hard to say that him being a college basketball player had nothing to do with him getting that role.
