I watched the OSU vs UM game & he couldn't throw it in the ocean.

Sure he's had terrible games, his crappy gunning was the biggest reason they lost to Kentucky last year in the tourney.

He's also scored over 1900 points, you don't get that being cold every night.

Needs to be amputated. Dawson is just gonna have a shin attached directly to his thigh.

Branden Dawson is gonna kill fiddy men!

  • A few more items of note here: Izzo was asked about the possibility of a redshirt for Dawson. From what I understand an ACL injury is an easier recovery process than an Achillies', but it obviously varies from person to person. Izzo said Dawson should be able to run again and participate in some things in six months, which would have him on track to return for Midnight Madness if all goes according to plan.

Here's what Izzo said when asked about a redshirt:

"You know, that’s completely out of my hands. I wouldn’t want to consider that at all. I don’t think he’d want to consider that but I would consider anything that was in his best interest. And so if we thought, if the doctors thought, I mean, we are not gonna push a kid that I think has a chance to play basketball after college and ruin his opportunity in any way. But that is about as much out of my hands as, you know, fighting for less taxes. It just ain’t happening."

I wonder if Tom is asking himself why MSU gave up 25 points to one guy and in fact his last shot was the game winner. You would think after Buford put in 15 or so that some defensive changes on the guy would occur. Maybe more or less switching, or playing him tighter, thereby forcing him further out to get the ball, or double teaming or whatever...

None of those things happened. I'm sorry, but in a big game with a championship on the line no one guy should get 25 -- the squeaky wheel gets the grease; the hot hand gets the adjustments.

    You're right jackass.

We should fire Izzo and hire you immediately.

i love this. you have no idea how we were defending him during the game so you certainly have no idea what "adjustments" we could have made so you just throw out some sports cliches you over heard some guys at work mention.

Switch more, switch less, play tighter. yeah, thats it. thanks. also, next time suggest we score more too. we missed like half our shots. what losers.

  • When you don't lose much any loss is big and tough.

  • Agreed, was tight defense on Buford. The kid just hit a great shot.

Don't think there was anything more Appling could have done on that last possession. Even with the height differential he made it an extremely tough shot for Buford.

Is it just me, or does Tom Izzo have the worst loss of his career like every month?

kind of like how I say "that's the stupidest post in the history of this board" nearly every fucking day.
