  • I love how on Friday we had one of those stupid "test of faith" threads about how if you weren't rooting for scUM so we could back into a title then you were a bad Spartan. I think it's pretty clear how Izzo feels on this topic. Can we please avoid having this discussion next time we're in this situation?

    (For the record, I'm not offended by people who were rooting for scUM so we would get part of the title, and I don't think it makes you a "bad Spartan" to think that way. I'm just of the mindset that I'd rather not owe any team anything, and the last team I'd ever want to owe something is those bastards from Ann Arbor. I'm also of the mindset that trying to prove that your outlook on any given issue makes you a "good Spartan" and makes everyone who disagrees with you a "bad Spartan" is a sad, sad way to live your life.)

  • The last 2 times MSU would have benefited from a win by those yellow bastards, they've crapped the bed.
    Today and a couple years ago in football when MSU beat Penn State at Penn St and MSU needed scUM to beat O$U to go to the Rose Bowl. They didn't and the Vadgers won some screwed up tiebreaker to go to Pasadena.

    Screw the skunkbears. I'll never, ever root for them the rest of my days.

  • Seriously, I've been associated in someway with MSU since the mid 70's. We have had numerous football coaches and a few bball coaches. We have two coaches right now in both major sports, who if they looked at my 51 year old outta shape ass, shook their heads, said to me, "Wags, I need you in the gym each day at 5:30 running sprints", I'd be there like a bitch with tennis shoes on tomorrow. How could you not want to play for either one of those guys?
