Several national recruiting analysts have said as much. There is no consensus clear "leader" as much as there ever is one, at this time.

But MSU has a shot. How good of one is anyone's guess.

UNC is not recruiting him, so I'm not sure where you heard that.

Rumors are that it is between MSU and Duke, but also Illinois, Washington and Kansas. UK also starting to get into the mix. I've also heard something like his dad doesn't like to fly, so distance may be a factor.

Izzo is going hard after this guy - same as he did with Gary Harris, Shannon Brown, etc. I think its pretty much a given that he isn't going to stay longer than a year, but whatever team he will be on will have a good shot of doing some damage. Plus he is a great kid - recent article was about how he is exhausted after playing multiple AAU games in one day, but still stops to sign kids' autographs at the end of the day "because I used to be that kid going to watch Lebron and Derrick Rose".

If we get him....Izzo has a very good chance, IMO, to win another title. Possible lineup of:
