Edit: I've been watching the video, and though the competition isn't all that, I've been laughing at the number of times that he shoves people on the ground. Not a traditional pancake, he just pushes them over.

I went to Plainwell. About as far from a football powerhouse as you can get. That being said, pretty cool to see a Trojan on the team.

Every offensive lineman is a project. 50/50 shot.

None taken. Our football team sucked when I was there (graduated 2003). I assumed they still suck.

I went to Plainwell too.....we've had a few kids go to MAC schools in the last 30 years or so, and one play at Yale, but the last dozen years have been pretty bad before winning our first playoff game this year.

Conklin is the coaches son I believe....and is a decent basketball player. Solid athlete given his size.

Btw, we do have two players on our current team from Gull Lake (former Wolverine confirm member) and Travis Key from Three Rivers gave us some solid years.

So he is getting Burbridge's scholarship??? jk.

Scholarship numbers are a bit fluid. We would have taken another OT last year if it was the right guy (Bisnowaty, Conyers) and we were also trying to add a late DE/DT (Pinnix-Odrick, Jaleel Johnson, Terrell Jackson, JaMichael Winston).

Yeah . . . my government teacher made us walk around the school singing it my senior year. Lots of walverines around too.

CBD said he knew about this for awhile but coach D wanted to keep his recruitment quiet. So I am willing to bet that this guy is better than what alot of people think. Congrats Jack you are now and forever a Spartan !

Football players come from all sorts of places. May I may remind you that Taiwan Jones came from Anchor Bay. That program is an absolute train wreck. They have been demoted to a lesser division in their conference because they can't compete with the other schools their size. If the coaches think he can play, then it's good to have him on board.
