Interesting. Does the NCAA suspend him with a "administrative job"?

If not, then why Akron. I'm sure they are much more cash strapped then a bigger school. $200,000 for a MAC team is Different than $200,000 at an SEC or B1G.

As posted in a previous thread on the subject...Akron now employes Tressel, Terry Bowden and Chuck Amato.
Those guys would've been expensive 10 years or so ago!

It is.
The High School Coaches in Ohio were still trying to honor him during the season last year before the OHSAA nixed their attempts.
He is still very highly regarded in that State.

The president at U of Akron is very aggressive at expanding/growing the school. With the decline in the rubber business, U of A is the big thing in Akron, they will spend to make it happen.I've got to believe they have some of the nicest facilities in the MAC.

True dat..If there is a man to do it, it's him. Like Coach D, he would do it to prove everybody wrong. YSU was pretty much the same.
