Forde with the confirmation. He's a stopgap while they look for their "real" coach.
"Heavy speculation over the past week was that Arkansas would hire an interim coach for the 2012 season and then work on a long-term replacement for fired Bobby Petrino. Smith is not an interim coach in title, but has a 10-month contract and a long-term search is expected after the season."

Insanity....I hope he does well though. I don't think I'll ever totally forgive him for a lot of things but now that we have Dantonio....no ill will towards the guy.

I just texted my buddy that goes to Arkansas about this and included my apologies. His response: "I'm not too worried. He won't make any staff changes, which is good. And it's only a year." They have no idea what they're getting themselves into.

Good luck JLS. The better he looks and does the better it is for our program. Rememebr he never cheated, liedm etc... he was a bit goofy and not a great recruiter but no real reson to bash him.
