If I worked in sales, I'd rather have the highest sales numbers than the lowest return rate. That said, I hope the kid commits.

This isn't sales though. It's infinitely worse to have someone commit and then decommit later which completely skews the scholarship numbers. Se'Von Pittman screwed us last year this way and left us scrambling to find a last minute DE option which we never found.

If the kid is sold on MSU, then going home overnight to talk to their parents should not change anything.
