That's 4 minutes of a 1/2 hour show.

Nah, he ripped on Luck for awhile and at one point for WAY too long. I think Luck was getting pissed.

I've seen him rip other guys, too. Part of what Gruden tries to do is fluster guys, I think. He'll find little moments where the QB screwed up or lost his composure. He wants to see how they react to criticism, like if they'll come up with excuses and get anry or learn from it I guess. I like how KC flipped it on Gruden during that clip of the Minnesota game when he spiked the ball and said his team needed something to kick them in gear. I think Gruden liked seeing a little emotion out of Cousins, too.

Is Jon Gruden capable of stringing a cohesive sentence together? I don't know what the hell he was saying half the time.

What is with the tv there. Why does everything go 2 seconds and then get rewinded? Do I really need to see the Georgia coach running four times.

I thought Gruden was tough on him, but it was all totally fair critism. Everything I am sure the Spartan staff has talked to him about for 4 years. Throwing it away, running when its available,etc. The Captain kept his composure and understood everything Gruden was trying to teach him. I thought it was excellent and NFL teams should see he has the ability to listen to critism and learn from his mistakes. Gruden also called him "One of the greatest human beings on the planet".

That's the format of the show, and this is no meeting of equals from a football standpoint. The qb's show up to get criticized about their play.

And if you're a qb at a D-I school you're used to getting criticism to your face every day, from the press, the fans, your coaches, etc.

Kirk was very poised and almost always avoided blaming anyone else for bad plays. The refs at the OSU game got some criticism but there's nothing they can do to him anymore.
