First of all, the nfl is supposedly looking into it already because the tight end at Colorado made a big deal about it. According to espn today, though, Bell was asked about having a gay team member in the same locker room. It's still messed up, but they weren't asking if he was gay (again, that's what espn said today)

I don't see a big issue. I don;'t have a problem answering that question nor would I if they asked about my faith. if they don't like either answer then too bad for them. I am straight though so of course now I will be told how I don't understand and will be downvoted.
Edit: I knew people would not fail to discriminate against me because of my opinion.

It may not be illegal, but it is in violation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. There is a clause that specifically spells out they cannot discriminate based on sexual orientation.

According to the Associated Press, the NFL says "any team or employee that inquires about impermissible subjects or makes an employment decision based on such factors is subject to league discipline."
DeMaurice Smith, the head of the NFL players association, said in a statement: "I know that the NFL agrees that these types of questions violate the law, our CBA and player rights. I hope that they will seek out information as to what teams have engaged in this type of discrimination and we should then discuss appropriate discipline."

Ah, thanks for the info. I hope someone makes a deal out of this, can't these teams just not draft T'eo because his combine wasn't very good? Why does it have to be a gay thing? I feel like a scumbag owner is just looking for excuses to avoid him.
