Beat me to it. If its a toxic species the lawn won't be his worry.
I have used Jerry Baker's "tonics" for years and they work. (Jerry was on one of the Detroit radio stations 20 years ago). For mushrooms he says you need to aerate your yard. I used to use my golf spikes but there are no such thing anymore. A neighbor used his kids football spikes.
1 cup of household dish soap in a 20 gal hose end sprayer and water the yard liberally. Wait an hour or so until it starts to dry and dust the mushrooms with dry laundry soap. ( I use the cheapest dishsoap and use the same dry laundry soap I use to clean off oil spots in the garage.)

They're spreading at an alarming rate. I called TruGreen, and they said they can't do anyting about it. Said it was probably poor drainage or too much moisture. Anyone have a problem like this? And if so, how do I get rid of the damn fungus?
