Started shacking up 2 months into a relationship. Lived in sin for 5 or so years while she finished school. Been married a year and a half now and things are great.

That's his way of saying that you're batshit crazy; great for sex, but not for sleeping over.

I tried it with my ex. Didn't work out. I'm damn thankful that we did. I thought I was getting a Lexus when in fact I got a Geo Tracker. Turned it back in and I'm happy with my unicycle.

Lived with my second girlfriend for about 8 or 9 months, ended up breaking up though it was nothing news worthy.

Living with my current girlfriend, going on about 6 months and it's overall been a much better deal. While the statistics are against it, I can't imagine marrying someone before trying to live with them.

I moved in with my last GF after dating for about 8 months. She lived with me for about 10 months and then moved out for a variety of reasons. We dated for another year after that, but things were never the same.

I have never done this. I am sure it works for some people but like people have said the statistics are against it. I have been happily married for 7 years.

I think that the problem with test driving is that you drive lots of great cars. You know that there are lots of them out there and when u finally buy one if it underperforms or is breaking down a lot you know based on your test driving experiences you can easily trade your car in for a new one. Problem is the depreciation is huge and it always costs a fortune to trade your car in and buy a new one.

ROFL...she had absolutely no fear when it came to shitting. Kinda creeped me out. She told me that she thought she had IBS, and I'm pretty sure she was spot on with her diagnosis. I got in the habit of pre-flushing the toilet prior to lifting the lid.

She was also party to the most awkward experience I've ever had with my dad. We were visiting my parents back in Michigan and caught a bug and threw up while we were on our way to the beach. We ended up turning around to go back to my parents house. As I'm explaining to my dad what happened, she excuses herself to go to the bathroom. Rather than go to any of the other two bathrooms in the house she heads to the one less than 10 feet away and proceeds to unload the loudest episode of diarrhea I've ever witnessed. I talked to my dad throughout the entire ordeal. I think the only thing that kept us from busting out laughing, is we were both petrified.

i don't think i've seen a better analogy anywhere on the intertz. for that, i award you a single up-vote.
