If you guys decide to make this happen get in touch with me. I am an attorney and focus on the alcoholic beverage industries. I've been telling people for years that Lansing and Muskegon are two places in need of a microbrewery.

The place had no personality and the beer was nothing to write home about. Is it any wonder they defaulted?
Kind of crazy the beer scene is blowing up in grand rapids and Detroit, but lansing can't really get a sniff of the micro brew goodness.

I hated the "pub" part of the location in Williamston. It had no character or cohesiveness.

Honestly, both MBC and whatever that place in Jackson is called picked the shittiest possible locations. Why put an establishment dedicated to beer-drinking somewhere 90% of prospective customers will have to drive to?

It's still sad to see it go. I remember when they moved to the larger facility on the property and were really excited to get it online.

I think that location was for the large scale brewing needed for wide spread distribution. If you've ever been to the place and tried to drink there, you'll quickly realize it felt like they just threw a sitting area up. And the food.... ugh... the food.
That being said, I'll very sad if I can't keep buying Celis White.

Office/Loft space.
Blue Coyote was great the first time i went there. Second time was like eating Pastaroni.
Very Harper's esque.

Cheap rent. If anything, trying to be a restaurant and bar with multiple locations did him in. Probably better to just focus on the beer and distribution.

I thought I remember hearing the Tuba Museum guy bought it and it's been in storage. Maybe that was someone else's gear.
