MSU Dodgeball heads to NCDA tournament in Saginaw this weekend

tl;dr: 70mph throws. Headshots legal.
The Michigan State Spartans are headed to Saginaw Valley State University for the 2012 National College Dodgeball Association tournament, and things are looking good - or at least as good as they can for a team that's 8-7. A favorable pool play schedule pits them against James Madison University (7-4), Wisconsin-Platteville (0-2) and Miami University (3-7) on Saturday, leaving them well-rested for a run in the single-elimination bracket on Sunday.
Relevant Schedule:
10:30 - All-NCDA Ladies' match
10:45 - MSU vs JMU
15:45 - MSU v UWP
17:00 - MSU v Miami-OH
All games to be played at the SVSU Ryder Center

Bit more to it than that - watching the various facebook feeds, some schools have apparently been scouting and doing film study. Meanwhile I have to go and relearn the rulebook since they've overhauled it after I stopped playing.

This would have never happened if I was still on the team. But for real, that blows. Would have walked to the finals with a win over JMU….. Nothing but heartbreak for MSU dodgeball.
