    So I am having a little freakout, and hoping somebody can talk me off the ledge.

    I have had the same great seats for 20+ years. They are in the 3rd row of the upper deck on the 40. Well as you know, this year they for the first time, they are included in the scholarship seating area. I purchased my tickets well before the deadline per usual, and my credit card was charged. I guess I just assumed it was for the full amount, including donation. I cant seem to find the confirmation email at the moment. When I log into this system and click on the "My Account" tab, it does not show my seats on the left hand side as it supposed to (according to the instructional video). I am hoping this is just a problem with the program right now.

    Anyways, is anybody else having this issue? I will be sending the ticket office an email tomorrow

    My seats not showing yet either. I think it will show tomorrow when this goes live or on the date you are allowed to change seats. Did the top of the seat designation show your name? Mine did

    Yeah it did. Sounds like I should be good then.

  • My seats aren't showing up either. Also, people are going to be moving into higher donor areas so they give you until the end of June iirc to pay your donor balance off and get your account current.

    You just had to pay the base amount of your season tickets by the end of April. The donor amounts are on top of that and not due for another couple months.

  • So I can sign in but I can't see the actual seats available, there is a countdown clock to my timeslot but they were making it sound like you could look to see what seats were available before your timeslot. Anyone else having this issue?

    Correct. I am all set...was telling poster that the selection page had not yet listed my seats.

    Also, tonight I got another email from MSU telliing me all about the date, ID, and password again.

    They also made the statement that my tickets AND SCHOLARSHIP fee were paid. I knew that, but this is the first time I have seen it in an email from them. So for the earlier poster concerned he had no confirmation on scholarship payment was made, should see it in an email very soon

    Wait for the stadium to come up in the window on the right and click on any section to see available seats.

    yes you can select seats anywhere, but you will be billed for the donation after and must be paid by the end of June I believe.

It seems to me that those who get to choose first have little advantage (allowed to choose from the scattered seats we now see on the live screen now), or maybe are at a disadvantage when it comes to getting good seats (miss out on the large volume of seat switchers on 5/30 who may abandon great seats due to fee's or other issues).

    Odds are if you donated last year, you're probably not looking to downgrade and those who are looking to downgrade either didn't donate at all or very little.

    I'd bet mostly the first groups will move into unsold season tickets from last year and seats not renewed this year. Next wave will pick up their seats and so on.

  • Did anyone notice that the visitor section is confined to the upper bowl? At least it looks that way when viewing the seating chart. The usual lower bowl visitor section on the northeast side appears to be open for season ticket holders.

    Edit: I just looked again and the visitors section is, in fact, there.

    Right, hence my question. BTW, I believe you can only get Spartan Fund Points for donating towards athletics, not other university funds.
