I never thought I'd see the day when Dantonio considered Minnesota a "program game" for us. Dear god, what have we become?

SItuationally, it is..
Bowl game or pack the lockers up.
It's one thing to not be in contention for the B1G title.. Disappointing. But it's another to not be able to get 6 wins over the course of 12 games. That would do harm to the program.

Who cares. Unless the team starts to improve or Roushar is actually held accountable for the offense, it's all hot air.

Wow...pathetic if this happens. I'd argue 6-6 teams don't deserve to be in bowl games let alone 5-7 teams.

Who would have thought we'd be able to steal Samuel from CMU, or pry Salem away from Augustana College (DII) in South Dakota.

I agree completely. At this point its about putting the program in the best shape going forward. But sadly, Roushar isn't going anywhere.

While what you say is true, they hadn't done anything before coming here, and haven't exactly turned a lot of heads since getting here. The NFL isn't going to come calling for these guys...neither is any other school.
Samuel, Salem, Gill and Roushar seem like they're riding coattails. None are noted for recruiting (except where noted as horrible recruiters), and none are noted for outstanding coaching.

A mediocre team.
I just want MSU and OSU to play for a rose bowl bid next season. Games between those 2 schools are rare, but so great.

I agree...sad to see. obviously, we had the team to back up the prideful chatter, but they just couldn't get it together.
hopefully, the talk about getting with the times and changing means that we bring in a new set of coaches on offense and the testicles drop for our players on that side of the ball.

This. Don't get a win and go to a Bowl game and it won't be floating down to earth it will be a program " face plant "
