MSU Spring Depth Chart Released

You just proved everyone's point. While 6'0 and 6'1 corners aren't small, 6'3 corners with good hips are downright rare. That is why people get excited about Lippet's potential at DB. That being said, if the coaches want him on offense, it's all good by me.

The staff feels that Tony has more upside as a WR than as a CB. They like him as a playmaker on offense with big play capability. He could even be used as a Wildcat QB. Probably won't show that in the Spring game but down the road during the regular season that could be a surprise formation.
Note : No more of the 5'-9" CB's of the JLS era.

I agree with that, but having 6'1 corners with the kind of speed that our DBs have is really good too. Our defense is not a question mark. The staff is trying to shore up the offense to prevent it from being a liability, which is why Lippett is moving to offense.

Last year's spring game I thought Lippett was one of the top 3 receivers on the field. He has serious playmaking ability
