Is the MSU ROTC program still active and well? I have not heard anything about it in some time. If so, would be cool to take along some of those students as our cheering section. Kinda like our own Army-Navy game!

They are but why not take some people that have already served like maybe SVA (Student Veterans of America) Obviously I might be a bit biased though.

I would definitely go to this game if tickets were made available to the public. Hell, I have a van, maybe I'll drive over there -- anybody up for a road trip?

So if Germany is 6 hours ahead and they want it to be broadcast in the evening here. They'll be playing at about 1am German time... this should be interesting

It said the fame would be played around 10pm german time so that it would be an early evening/late afternoon game here

As a veteran I love the way Hollis/Izzo are repping our military folks.Of course,the pub doesn't hurt either.
I was born about 15 minutes away from Ramstein and my mom is from a village about 5 clicks away.
I have spent a decent amount of time on the base with the USAF.
The base is cool for civilians who aren't exposed to the military a lot and there is a lot to do in the area(castles,the Winestrassse,riverboat tours,the cathedral at Reims,etc.)
A ton of expats and English -speaking Germans in the area as well.
I encourage any of you who have the means,or are in that part of Europe at that time,to check it out!

They have Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright returning in the backcourt, along with the #32 player in the country coming in (Omar Calhoun). They will have some talent but certainly not as talented as the debacle last year.

aircraft carries were so 2011...i would almost be embarrassed to play on one this season.
Your average UofM fan and I have something in common, neither of us went to UofM. Though we do share One major difference, I got Accepted.

it would have been better and more suited schedule wise to play it on the saturday rather than the friday.... as a 6pm/8/9pm german time start would fit better into ESPN's Schedule.......
but yes... glad they are playing one on european shores... I would have loved them to also play one in England... but I live in hope...

Also, Alex Oriakhi transferred to Missou....
Not sure who they'll have in the post.
UConn was terrible WITH Drummond, Lamb, and Oriakhi. MSU should be heavily favored in this game, especially, if Dawson is healthy.
