The last LOI received (and confirmed) by MSU was Macgarrett Kings Jr.'s, at 11:43 a.m. It isn't a quick process, unless you're comfortable with fucking something up and having NCAA sanctions as a result. I'm not, and I'm guessing Dantonio isn't either.
If Madaris' LOI was only received by Compliance 90 minutes ago, that's well within the realm of due diligence (not to mention there may have been a problem that had to be corrected). Compliance will take all the time they need, no matter how many fans' feelings are affected by it. It's only the university and the program at stake, after all.
And frankly, I'm really not fussed whether Madaris comes or not, having taken a look at the others we have. Odd to say after losing 3 senior WR's, but I think we look pretty good at the position next year, with or without Madaris.
