  • Thinking of Bielema right now brings up horrible memories of Keshawn returning the BT Championship punt to the 1 yard line. Only to be called back because of a horrible play.

Still don't understand why the coaches had anyone actually try to block the punt with the risk of running in to the punter. Keep the game alive. FML.

He was blocked into the punter. Bad call. The end.

I'm sure the decision to call punt block was well thought out and didn't involve the fear that Lewis may run into the punter. That's a pretty ridiculous way to analyze the block call anyways.

MSU had blocked a punt in the first game and was probably attempting to exploit that weakness once again. It was well documented that Wisconsin special teams had been performing sub par at best.

EDIT: Additionally, any argument claiming the coaches should have elected to go with a full return is invalid due to the fact that the return was excellent despite the block call.
