Steel Reserve is nasty, I prefer Colt 45 myself. Or if it is hurricane season and I am watching storm coverage on TV I go with Hurricane Malt Liqour.

Yes, malt liquor was my drink of choice. King Cobra, Colt 45 but rarely and then never Steel Reserve. That and Bull Ice were on the naughty list.

Used to buy 2 40oz in college when low on funds and wanted to party. Steel Reserve, king Cobra, red dog, C45, etc... 2 was enough to last all night and F you up pretty good for under 4 bucks.

Never had a Steel Reserve. I've knocked out a few kegs worth of St. Ides, Old English & Magnum though.

This is my kind of thread!
Steel Reserve is always associated with me among my friends now, but i stay away from the 40's. I like to start with a Steely tallboy. 40's I swap around but olde english and Cobra are always solid.
You guys should give Steel Reserve another shot. C'mon guys, be punx.

Every once in awhile I'll pick up a couple 40s of Old English 800. Tastes like ass but effs me up quick.

I hate beer and malt liquor (I'm a weed guy who never bothered to acquire the taste), so 95% of the time I get drunk, it's off a >$6 fifth of vodka and a 2 liter of Meijer brand soda (usually Dr. M). I'm definitely an amateur drunk, but I've found this to be an effective and cost-efficient combination.

They are still around, and ice beer is simply beer that was cooled to freeze some of the water and remove it. Hence upping the alcohol content.
Sure, it's not like it was in the mid 90's. Yet many ice beers can still be had. I, like many others, determined a long time ago they all sucked. Plus I no longer attempt to get drunk as quickly as possible.

I love to grab a 40 for tailgating. Not every week, but regularly enough. The best malt liquor out there is Big Bear. It is made by PBR. That's how you know it's good.

I've never seen such a 40. Is it in Michigan? I totally would h ave gotten a bear 40 if i ever saw one.

Crazy Horse had a unique bottle, like an Arizona Iced Tea. I found this image Googling pictures of it. WTF.
