It looked to me (based on the angle of the puck) like it still would have gone under the visor and hit him in the face.

This. I'm not convinced a visor would have helped, especially considering this was a reaction thing where he saw it last second.

Well what we don't know is how he'd wear a shield. If he wore it Kronner style, that still gets him easy. If he wore it tilted up a bit, maybe it kicks the helmet up and still gets him. If he wore it Heatley style, it probably kicks up the visor into his face.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm simply saying you may not be right.

That's my favorite line I've taken away from my statistics class to this point. So many applications haha.

Seriously? He begins to look down, slightly, as the puck comes in. The visor would have easily deflected the puck.
