They have the horses to compete physically in the trenches more than they ever had in the past.

They have more guys who can bench 400lbs and jump 30" than they have ever had.

MD thinks the O-line with be very good. Very young but very athletic. Foreman is the first 4 year starter since Mandarich. Thinks the first 4 games will really help the O-line get experience.

Says that Nebraska joining the BT improves the brand and that the new divisions + Neb helps recruiting.

Says that team chemistry is very good and that that is where it all starts. Ready for MSU to climb the "next Mountain".

He calls the vest his "tragic hero" WTF? I understand he's (tressel) his mentor, but for fucks sake, disassociate yourself from the taint...if anything he just called attention to our program for extra scrutiny if / when something bad goes wrong.

I understand this opinion may be unpopular on here, but Coach D needs to quit attaching himself to the tainted suckeyes.

I know I'm biased, but I watched most all of the coaches speak, and Dantonio was the most impressive. Well, him and Fitzgerald. All these other coaches talk and talk but don't say anything. Coach D gets into specifics on his players. You actually learn something about MSU when he talks about them.

Listening to Dantonio reminds me a bit of an interview that the press had with Steve Yzerman after they beat the Avalanche to reach the finals in 1997. The media was surprised as to how subdued he was about going to the Stanley Cup finals for the second time in three years. His first Cup experience was getting swept by the Devils in 1995. When asked why he and the rest of his teammates weren't overly celebrating, Yzerman simply stated, "We haven't won anything yet." His meaing was simple and direct, getting to the finals is nice, but the true accomplishment is winning the cup and not the Western Conference trophy.

Dantonio stated that his first goal was to win a conference championship and have his team play in the Rose Bowl. They only accomplished half of his objective, a nice accomplishment but not the stated goal. That's that other mountain that Dantonio is speaking of, and beyond that mountain is another, that being playing in and winning a National Championship at MSU.

I was taught to be content with where you are in life, but to never become complacent. That is where I see Dantonio at the present. He is content with what he has done so far but he is not complacent with believing this is as good as it will get. For the past four years he has been quietly assembling and developing a squad of players that have the ability to accomplish winning the Big Ten and heading to Pasadena. This year could be something special if the defense ratchets up their performance and the offensive line gels.

This is a stupid post from someone who doesn't know what friendship, loyalty, or commitment to your friends means.

Just because you don't have any friends, doesn't mean that everyone else has to be just a disloyal and backstabbing as you, you jerk.

I'm loyal to my friends no matter what they've been through and I respect D for being the same way.

Go throw your acquaintenances in front of a bus. It's obvious you don't have any friends.
