Meanest Baseball Fans Ever Rob Little Boy of Ball

I also kinda agree with that. If I reach up to grab a foul ball and catch it with my bare hands ... agree.

When a player flips a ball in to the crowd (likely intended for the kid in the first place) and you end up with it ... I'm handing it over to the kid 100 times out of 100.

I love all the "tough messageboard guys" on here. no

It is a freaking baseball. It will mean nothing to you a day later...little kids will show that thing off for years. The only time i agree with you is during a moment of historical significance.

On the flipside, parents should have no expectation of someone ever giving their kid a ball if it is caught nearby.

  • One time, i caught a foul ball and some kids next to me wanted it. I made them write an essay to me on why they deserved the ball and gave them 2 months to submit it.

They submitted the essays on time, but I replied to each of them that they didn't win the essay contest and that another kid had won because he wrote that he wanted to donate the ball to some tribe of uncivilized kids that you see in national geographic because they don't have these luxuries. Of course, i just told them that to get them off my case.

The ball's somewhere in my closet...I think. I can't remember what I did with the ball.

  • Baseball is now and always has been a kid's game. Give the ball to a kid. No adult should be that thrilled to keep a freak'n baseball compared to the good feeling a kid gets.

Do you all wipe your kid's asses til their 18, too?

I'm sure you were a complete bad ass when you were 3.

I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.

  • I was at wriggly field and this dumb ass tried to bare hand a foul ball down third that most of us were ducking. Guy had to have broke his hand. He was hurting and left.

  • That whiny kid was crying even before the ball was had by the couple. They should've given it to a different kid because this one is a crybaby,
