There's this place called the Chicken Coop south of town where they've got great southern style fried chicken and other goodness. However it tells you something about the part of town when they do all their transactions behind metal bars and have security cameras...

not trying to be a little bitch but the chicken coop in muskegon heights is better. they have a jalapeno ranch sauce they make in-house that is awesome. that is also the place where i found out to use frank's hot sauce on fried perch. it's really worth the risk to your life to try it.

On south division. A couple years back someone got shot out there. It was 3 am and there were over 300 people there....no eyewitness'. You know why? Cause snitches get stiches bitches.

DAMN STRAIGHT AM....well worth the risk. Chicken Coop is a west side of MI phenomenon that is sadly fading. We had one right NEXT to my high school. (Portage Northern-circa late 80's) I went there about 4 days a week: Any 2 pieces of chicken (breast man myself), orgasmic amount of fries and a coke for $2.22. Jebus, I have high cholesterol because of that place: miss the fuck out of it. (btw: the current Coop in GR is at the corner of Division and Hall just south of downtown GR)

Meh, it happens. Do you want the chicken, fries, perch and all that wholesome fucking greasy goodness or don't you? You have to weigh the risk my friend.
BTW: for the Popeyes fans: one at the corner of Burton and Division just a few miles north of the aforementioned Chicken Coop: few shootings a summer there too..........like I said: how bad do you want it?
