    Penn St has 12 verbals currently. Not sure how many current players will transfer with just 2 weeks left to the start of fall practice. I have a feeling that the majority of them will stay and try to put together at least 1 more solid season before the real long term impact takes shape. Especially the kids who have been around for 3 or 4 years. Some of their frosh and rs frosh may opt out now. Now we will see who the vulture programs and coaches really are. Look for the SEC to be lining up to grab players.

    Well, if MSU isn't in "vulture" mode as you call it right now, then I'd like to know why the hell not? We have uncertainties with the young OL and somewhat so with the DT's, so why wouldn't we look to add a quality player before all of them are gone elsewhere?

    MSU looking for a big-bodied possession WR in this class. Kilgore is the speedy guy, Harris is the PR/KR/AP-type player, but they want a guy who can go across the middle and pick up 8 yards on 3rd and 7. Zach fits that mold.

    He could also grow into a TE, play OLB or SS.

    I'm not saying you're wrong, but why are we so eager for a big receiver? Do we really have no one else that will be around for a year or two until Drake can pick up the slack? Dudes 6'4 and potentially still growing.

    probably because Coach D' has a recruiting formula that usually includes KNOWING a kid and what they are about: he has that comfort level with Bradshaw: not so much with alot of the others on that roster: NOT saying he, Duzzi', Barnett and Co. won't TRY to become better acquainted but these things do take some time. That's my take, for better or worse....I know the $EC is circling like vultures........but: what's new? It's what they do. Effers..............

    Coach D has never signed a player that they got in on late in the recruiting cycle? Coach D doesn't know all of the recruits he signs as well as you portray.

    Nichol and Cunningham performed brilliantly and the coaches want to recreate that.

    What I'm saying is why offer for another big receiver when we have one committed a year later; we could use that scholly elsewhere.
