Michigan State/Boise St erections

  • I would not get too excited about paying $90 for tickets and you dont know where they will be located. The secondary market (not us at this point because our quality is much better) has plenty of tickets below the $80 face value and you know the locations. This will be the case for every game this year with the possible exception of ND.

    In 2009, UCONN didn't sell out their allotment of tickets for the Final Four in Detroit. Somebody found this out, and posted the great news on the old board. To make sure other fans (mostly UCONN) weren't aware of us buying all their tickets, we called them Final Four erections instead of tickets. It was hilarious at the time.

    I remember being so afraid of their athletic department canceling the orders from people in Michigan...it seemed too good to be true. I created a fake email for them even (go_huskies_in_mi) lol. Showing up at the UConn hotel with my dad, in all green, and seeing their fans' reactions was priceless. It was even better when Calhoun and the team came down through the lobby to shake the fans' hands before heading off. Calhoun looked at my Dad and me and just shook his head.

  • Ignore my ignorance, but what is the deal with the MSU tickets for this game? Is it too late for single game tix from the ticket office? I am basically looking at buying these Boise seats (I agree with tritongreen) or buying them on stubhub.

    If there are any singles left they usually start selling them in early August.

    I bought scalped tickets a few months ago. $105 for sideline lowers. In the meantime you just paid $90 for upper nosebleed corners surrounded by Boise St fans.

    We'll all have fun regardless, but let's not pretend like these are a better deal than many (most) scalped tix you can find right now.

    Yeah, but seeing Noise State fans start crying when they lose will quickly make these seats the best ever. It's so sweet seeing super-arrogant entitled fans lose when they aren't used to losing. Have you seen their schedule? MSU is the best game by far.

    I would rather celebrate with MSU fans after a win than celebrate in front of Boise State fans after they lose. I dont think you are going to talk anybody into thinking that more expensive, worse locations in the visitors section are going to be better.

    Uh, 2 things:

    I'm not a MSU fan. I like MSU, but I have no connection to the university.

    And we don't know where the seats are for sure. What we do know is they're a little bit more expensive and we're stealing them from noise state fans. We don't know how much tickets are going to be going for closer to kickoff. I tried to buy tickets from MSU's website to no avail. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. I'm just psyched to finally check out Spartan stadium and rock the tailgate. I know as a duck i would love info that I could use to buy up the opposing fans' ticket allotment.

    I'm trying to take his candy? LOL As a Boise St season ticket holder, I could have bought as many as I wanted before the public but for the same reasons I listed above, there is no way I would touch that price or that quality. Dont look a gift horse in the mouth.

    There are already some brokers selling crap for $85 which is basically face value so if we beat Boise St and ND comes in undefeated it should hold a little under $100 simply because there is so much inventory out there. If we lose to Boise St then I would say $60

    Had a family member call looking for single game tickets for a few games and they were told they would not be selling single game tickets this year. Not sure if that will change as the season comes closer or not.

    Spartan Stadium is actually reverse numbered so row 1 is actually the last row.

    First of all I doubt you received your seating assignment yet, secondly MSU does not send section 2 to visitors and lastly even if the first 2 were true the odds that you got front row are extremely unlikely. You are full of shit.

    I've had enough of your fucking bullshit, triton. Do me a favor. Go to Boise State's website, and act like you're buying a ticket. The place where it used to say "GA" for general admission now has a seating assignment. As of this morning, the listed section was still "2". It doesn't take a genius to figure out they received their tickets from MSU in the last couple days. I called in and asked about mine.

    I have no angle here. I don't work for Boise State's athletic office. I hate Boise State. I was just trying to spread information I thought might be useful. You on the other hand have an angle. You work for a ticketing company. You were wrong. Plus You were rude. Fuck you.

    post edit: He wasn't completely wrong. I got the section wrong. It's section 4, not 2. The reason for the mix up is a boring story involving usc/oregon on november 3rd. Either way. The current section up for grabs is section 6.
