  • Meh, they look ok. Nothing special.

    The gloves are horrible, but they don't have many options for "outside the box" gloves since I assume Nike has exclusive rights to the connecting logo thing.

    Seriously. In some bizarre twist of a school imitating the fanbase, they're going to wear the cheap, knockoff uniforms you see at Meijer and Menards that the Downriver trash fanbase knows and loves.

    Do they sell jerseys at Menards?

    If they did or if they do, this is what they would look like, or do look like, I bet.

    Look for these in every gas station and truck stop from Brownstown to Toledo this upcoming year.

    Take the current home-jersey template... Black pants with a green stripe going up the side, black jerseys with green shoulder-stripes, have the numbers be white with a green outline, black helmet with a green stripe, black face mask.

    These are awful but not quite as bad as their clown suits from last year.

  • I saw in campus den the other day they are now selling the bumblebee unis. must be they think after almost a year people forgot the ass kicking they received in them.

  • What the eff is up with these 'tards? They're one of the few remaining programs in college football that has had the same basic uniforms that have withstood the times and yet they're willing to throw that away for those pieces of poo? Jesus effing Christ.

    I was in Dick's last year looking at some MSU PC stuff and overheard a meeeeechigan doucher say to his friend, "MSU has to resort to changing uniforms, because they suck". I laughed, but I wished I would have said something to the tool and set him straight that BIG TIME schools get PCs. It's not a gimmick, it's a reward.

    I wondered what that assclown thought when his beloved "traditional" walverines had a ton more different jerseys later that year.

    They also announced on twitter that they'll remove the helmet numbers after the Alabama game and wear their normal set for the rest of the regular season.

    For the life of me I can't get why people get so bent out of shape over special uniforms.

    Special Uni's should be just that. Oregon started out with special uni's, now the just have "different uni every game"

    If you trot out a special uni every week, pretty soon they aint special

    There are only a few schools that have changes almost every game, and they are the ones who have decided to make it a part of their brand. It's tough to gauge whether it has worked out financially for the teams who recently started doing this (Maryland and ASU are the two that come to mind) but it's pretty obvious that it's been a smashing success at Oregon.

    But that's not even what I was talking about. The Pro Combat uni freakout on this board was absolutely insane, and that was one game, and "special." It makes no sense.

    i had to google them again to look at them. I guess that's how memorable they were for me. Anyway, I'm not big on the stripes over the shoulder pads but it doesn't really bother me as long as it's some combination of maize, blue and white.

    To be honest with you I'd rather just stick with the uniforms we had in the 90's, but today's recruits are a different breed I guess.
